Why I help
I do it for the children who are in situations to no fault of their own. As long as there are Children in need I will continue to do anything I possibly can do to help. This is why I live in a storage container unshaved and unbathed until I reach at least my goal, 2,000 pounds of Toys and 200 bikes, 10,000 pounds of non-perishable food or 2,000 backpacks and the school supplies to fill them.
Our History
Back in 1999 I was approached by the Houston area Toys for Tots program to help them raise toys for the less fortunate children. I came up with a toy drive that has gone from an actual Box to a Storage container I use today. Years later I started a food drive for the Houston Food Bank. When I moved to the Tyler area in 2009 I continued my Toy Drive benefiting the Rose City Toys for Tots Organization. In 2014 I continued my Food Drive and I added my Stuffing the Bus School Supply Drive benefiting the Tyler Area Partnership for Education’s #SchoolisCool
